What is JOTA?
Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) is a co-ordinated oportunity for members of Scouting to connect using radio (JOTA) and internet (JOTI) communication services.
Information for JOTA at the Park 2019 event
Mafeking Rover Park runs a JOTA site each year. While affectionately referred to as the Adults Only site, the operation caters to both youth members and adult members of Scouting alike. The site is well supported for JOTA operations, and uses the personal equipment of JOTA co-ordinators to make the event a success.
JOTA is on the third weekend of October each year. Specific dates are published on jotajoti.info and co-ordinated with Scouts Victoria through SRESU.
